Thirteen-year-old Mike Murray has a secret: his whole body is made of shape-shifting pixels. Convinced he's the lost son of visionary director Frank Nano, Mike rallies his friends to enter a filmmaking contest, using his powers to create special effects for their guerrilla superhero blockbuster.

But production stalls when Sal Destro, a vengeful rival from Frank's past, crashes the set. Armed with a horde of mechanical apes, Sal turns their suburban shoot into a war zone, hell-bent on extracting the secrets of Mike's existence.

As the line between movies and reality blurs, Mike must master his glitching form to defeat Sal and finish his film. Will he survive long enough to claim his legacy? Or will his life end up on the cutting room floor?

This is, of course, a couple weeks after the previously announced Windycon. I’ll have a stack of free Nanoland guidemaps with me, along with a stack of not-free books. I’ve lived pretty close to that library my whole life, but I’ve always been a suburb or two over, so I’ve never actually been in there. Do they have comics? Do they have 4ks?
